We, the family and friends of Namand Payne, will be forever blessed and changed by his life and his death. For this reason we have hosted an annual basketball tournament in his name the past 10 years to share his passion for the game and honor him. We will continue the event again this year. The event is a charity basketball tournament to raise money for The Namand Payne Memorial Scholarship. We would like to invite anyone who wants to participate in the tournament to join us. If you know of anyone who would like to play please feel free to pass them this information.
The Tournament format is as follows:
Saturday May 10, 2025
8am – 2pm - Basketball Tournament (Men's and Women's)
2pm – 5pm - Tournament Playoffs
6pm - After party and Silent/Live Auction at the Canadian Brewhouse in Leduc
The cost for the Tournament is $50 and will include your entry fee, and jersey.

Please help recruit any teammates or family and friends that you think would want to participate. We would also like to invite anyone who was fortunate enough to have known Namand to come out and cheer on the players and participate in the silent auction and after party.
